I can't believe how fast my babies grow! Tayson and Halli both had birthdays this fall and now they are 6 and 4. It still seems unreal that they are already starting school. Tayson started Kindergarten this year and surprisingly loves it. whew! I was afraid he would be "bored" His favorite word to use when life isn't exciting enough for him :) He has a great teacher and has made some friends and his favorite part is recess of course.
Halli started preschool this year and also loves class. She is learning how to listen and follow instructions very well and also has some new friends! Miss Joy is her teacher and Halli thinks she is "so beautiful, she looks life Snow White mom!"
Needless to say I no longer have babies at my house :( (maybe someday)
Fall this year in Boise is nothing but spectacular! I'm sure you can imagine what the "city of trees" looks like when all the leaves change colors wow!!! We love it here.
The kids had a great Halloween and actually did real Trick or Treating this year around the neiborhood. We usually just do the trunk or treat thing. They loved it and got way too much candy which mysteriously dissapeared over time.
We had Thanksgiving here in Boise with the Moreno's and Summers and enjoyed every last piece of pie! YUM
Christmas came way too fast as usual but I loved every minute of it! Its so much fun when your kiddos are this age. We did all the usual, making cookies, the gingerbread house, and watching "the Christmas Story" of course. It wouldn't be Christmas without that movie. Nick woke everybody up at 5 am on Christmas morning so he could play with Taysons toys and then we drove to Rigby to see Krissy!!!!
Krissy and Nate blessed their new little princess Jostelyn so we made the trip over to see them. We had a blast playing the Wii and watching Natlie pull out her tooth:) She earned 5 bucks from grandpa for pulling it out before he even finished speaking. lol.
We went to Utah for New Years. It was good to see mountains again. It was good to see family too but I really missed those mountains:) Then on Jan 4th Halli had surgery to remove a tumor in her shoulder. She was such a trooper. The nurses just couldn't get enough of her. She recovered faster than anyone expected and was back on her feet in no time. Thankfully the tumor was benign and she will be just fine.
So overall it's been an eventfull few months and we are ready to relax a little.
